Who We Are
Crusade Free Will Baptist Church is a new church being established — not yet fully built, but already called. We are at the beginning of our journey, and we are grateful you have found us here.
We are a Christ-centered church committed to reaching people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, supporting them in their walk with God, encouraging them to grow as disciples, and sending them back into their families and communities as a living testimony of Jesus Christ.
We do not yet have a permanent building, a large congregation, or an established ministry staff. What we have is a calling, a mission, and an open invitation for people who are willing to pray, grow, and build alongside us.
Our Pastor
Rev. Dr. Quentin L. Johnson
Rev. Dr. Quentin L. Johnson is a seasoned minister of the Gospel with more than three decades of faithful service to the body of Christ. Rooted in the Free Will Baptist tradition from the earliest years of his ministry, he has devoted his life to the proclamation of the Gospel, the care of God's people, and the advancement of Christ's kingdom in local communities across the state of Maryland.
Dr. Johnson's academic formation reflects a deep commitment to theological excellence. He holds a Bachelor of Religious Studies from Moody Bible Institute, a Master of Divinity from New Hope Bible College and Seminary, and a Doctor of Divinity from New World Christianship Ministries — credentials that have equipped him to preach, teach, and lead with both conviction and depth.
His ministerial career spans more than thirty years of active service. He began as an Associate Minister at First Mt. Olive Free Will Baptist Church in 1990 and went on to serve as Senior Associate Minister at Williams Tabernacle Free Will Baptist Church and as Assistant Pastor at Solid Rock Free Will Baptist Church — both congregations within the Free Will Baptist fellowship that shaped his theological foundation. He subsequently served as Interim Pastor at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Odenton, Temple of Praise Baptist Church in Suitland, and Jenkins Memorial Baptist Church in North East — each assignment a testament to his steady, faithful presence in congregations in need of pastoral leadership. Most recently, he served as Assistant Pastor at Calgary Temple House of Praise in Bethesda.
It is out of this rich history of service — and a deep, abiding conviction that God was calling him to plant something new — that Crusade Free Will Baptist Church was born. Dr. Johnson founded Crusade FWBC with a singular purpose: to reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to build disciples who are equipped for spiritual warfare, and to send them back into their families and communities as living testimonies of God's grace.
Rev. Dr. Johnson stands before this congregation not as one who has arrived, but as one who has answered the call — and who invites all who are willing to build alongside him.
